Courses Eligible (If student Studies in India)

Education loans are available for students pursuing recognized courses in India. The eligible courses include:

  • School education, including Higher Secondary (up to Class 12).
  • Undergraduate degree programmes such as – B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., and similar courses.
  • Postgraduate programmes, including Master’s degrees and Ph.D. courses.
  • Professional courses such as Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Law, Dentistry, Management, Computer Science, and related fields.
  • Computer certificate and diploma courses offered by reputed institutes accredited by the Department of Electronics or affiliated with recognized universities.
  • Professional qualification courses such as CA (Chartered Accountancy), ICWA/CMA, CFA, and similar certifications.
  • Courses offered by premier institutions such as IIMs, IITs, IISc, XLRI, NIFT, and other nationally recognized institutes.
  • Programmes offered in India by reputed foreign universities.
  • Approved evening or part-time courses conducted by recognized institutions.
  • Diploma and degree programmes approved by UGC, AICTE, Government authorities, ICMR, AIBMS, and other recognized regulatory bodies.
  • Courses offered by National Institutes and other reputed private institutions recognized by banks based on their academic reputation, approval status, and future career prospects.

  • Postgraduate programmes such as MBA, MCA, MS, M.Tech., and other recognized Master’s degrees.
  • International professional qualification courses, including CIMA (UK), CPA (USA), and other globally recognized certifications.
  • Courses offered by reputed and accredited foreign universities with good academic standards.
  • Programmes that provide strong career opportunities and are recognized by employers and professional bodies.

Student Eligibility

  • Should be an Indian National.
  • Must have secured admission to professional/technical courses through an Entrance Test or Selection Process.
  • Must have secured admission to a foreign university/institution.
  • Should have scored a minimum of 60% in the qualifying examination for admission to graduation courses (50% for SC/ST candidates).

Repayment & Operational of RBI Education Loan Guidelines
